Recordings

In 1899, Vladimir Pulsen invented a way to record information using magnets. This quickly developed into faster, more efficient ways to store larger amounts. This developed the record and the tape, which in turn would lead to the CD and DVD. After this invention, leaders and normal people could communicate to one another without ever being present.

The ability to record was obviously a great new technology. This was the 'ancestor' of what is today the mp3 and CD's. Good thing that the invention came about early, in order for it to develop so quickly!

What would we do without our jamz? We need to get down to funky fresh beats. Am I right? I bet the increase in the amount of information that can be stored has changed mass communication greatly.

I'm interested in learning more about how Putin developed such technology. Was he a scientist or inventor? What about how recording technology evolved into what it is today? I noticed your post was short, so maybe next time you could go more in-depth.

This sounds really interesting and it's very informative but I was wondering what sparked this invention and experimentation for it? What can it be used for in the future?
